Steve Scroggs's Interview
Educational Organization recently sat down to discuss organizational change with Steve Scroggs. Scroggs is currently the interim principal at a large high school in central North Carolina. He has been a teacher and a principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and was the Assistant Superintendent for Support Services and Facilities in his district for 10 years. Also, he comes from a family of educators and has a history of dealing with organizational issues in the public schools. The sun will rise again
One of the issues I have is with the amount of collaboration that takes place between the regular education teacher and the special education teacher. Currently there is not much collaboration going on. However, I feel that there is a way the administration can designate time for regular ed. teachers to collaborate with the resource teachers of the school.
